SkinLogic Cookie Policy

Effective Date: May 14, 2026 Last Updated: May 14, 2026

What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how the skinlogicapp.com website uses cookies. It does not apply to the SkinLogic iOS application, which does not use cookies of any kind.

The website is a small static site that exists primarily to host this Cookie Policy, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and a brief landing page describing the SkinLogic app.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences across visits, and to provide reporting information to website owners. Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies"), and others are set by services that the website uses ("third-party cookies").

Cookies can be session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period).

How We Use Cookies

The skinlogicapp.com website is a static information site that we do not use to track visitors, profile users, or display advertisements. Because of this, our cookie usage is minimal.

We do not use:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, or any other analytics service)
  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Behavioral profiling or retargeting cookies
  • Any cookies that identify you personally

The only cookies set when you visit skinlogicapp.com are strictly necessary cookies set by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., to protect the website from abuse and to deliver pages efficiently.

Cookies in Use

CookieSet byPurposeDuration
__cf_bmCloudflareDistinguishes between legitimate human visitors and automated traffic (bots), to protect the site from abuse.Up to 30 minutes (session)
cf_clearanceCloudflareRecords that a visitor has completed a Cloudflare challenge (such as a CAPTCHA), so the visitor is not re-challenged for a short period. Only set if a challenge has been issued.Up to 30 days

These are classified as strictly necessary under the European Union's ePrivacy Directive and similar laws, which means they do not require prior consent — but we disclose them here for transparency.

For details about Cloudflare's cookie practices, see Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.

Controlling Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

You can also delete cookies that have already been stored on your device through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent skinlogicapp.com from loading correctly, since Cloudflare's bot-protection cookie is required for the site's security.

You can find more information about cookies and how to manage them at aboutcookies.org or allaboutcookies.org.

Updates to This Cookie Policy

If we ever add additional cookies — for example, if we begin using a privacy-friendly analytics tool — we will update this Cookie Policy and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We will not silently add tracking or advertising cookies. Any such change will be disclosed here, and where applicable law requires consent (such as in the European Union and the United Kingdom), you will see a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
